Handstand Man walking at you effect?

I remember seeing this in a haunt years ago I believe there are 3 people lined up against a wall where 2 appear to be standing and 1 appears to be standing upside down and as you approach them the one standing on his hands comes towards you because you would least expect the guy standing on his hands to walk towards you. Is this how the affect works? I am trying to recreate the illusion.

It's all in the costume. Distortions has a shocktronic out a couple shows ago that was that effect and looked convincing.

I think it can be recreated with a mask in actors crotch and shoes on actors hands like he is upside down?
