    The Midwest Fantasy Show (MFS) and Midwest Haunters Convention (MHC) will be held July 13-15, 2007 in Columbus Ohio at the Doubletree Hotel -Worthington. Friday July 13th will feature a Makeup Artist and Entertainers Practice Jam presented by the U.S. Body Painting Festival from 8 pm - 12 midnight.

    Event guests will be entertained at a reception featuring a practice jam session for makeup and other artists and entertainers - and models! This will be a free session for MFS/MHC convention attendees and guests to practice and share their arts and entertainment skills and to network and socialize with light snacks; bar service. Special Areas will be reserved for face painting, airbrushing, balloon twisting, henna, magic, juggling and costuming!

    What is the Midwest Fantasy Show?
    A unique convention serving family entertainers including professional Makeup Artists, Face and Body Painters, Airbrush Artists, Henna, Magicians, Balloon Twisters, and Clowns. The goal of the Midwest Fantasy Show is to provide attendees with educational seminars and workshops as well as a place to socialize with others in the industry during our fun social activities with a free vendor trade show. The Midwest Fantasy Show is sponsored by the U.S. Body Painting Festival.

    What are the social activities at the Midwest Fantasy Show?
    The Midwest Fantasy Show Social events include a Friday the 13th Practice Jam.
    Saturday, July 14 events Fantasy Halloween Body Art Fashion Show sponsored by the U.S. Body Painting Festival at the Scareparts Masquerade Party. A Gag Studios Silent and Live Auction will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2007.

    What about shopping?
    The weekend Vendor Trade Show is FREE! There will be a variety of exciting retailers with items for cash and carry purchase; along with product demos. Vendors include the Wolfe Brothers, Pashur, Silly Farm, Amerikan Body Art, the U.S. Body Painting Festival and Bloody Mary.

    What is included for the weekend Shows?
    The $79 weekend admission includes Midwest Fantasy Show Classes and Midwest Haunters Convention Classes.

    What is the Midwest Haunters Convention?
    The Midwest Haunters Convention (MHC) is a weekend event planned for Haunted Attraction Producers, Actors, and Home Haunters. The Midwest Haunters Convention is sponsored by Scareparts. Halloween enthusiasts are encouraged to join us for a weekend of excitement, sharing and learning in a comfortable setting. The public is welcome. The MHC is hosting the debut of the Midwest Fantasy Show. The Midwest Fantasy Show will be held in conjunction with the Midwest Haunters Convention.     The Midwest Haunters Convention and the Midwest Fantasy Show will both bring top talent in from around the country to Columbus, Ohio for a sharing of artistic and entertainment interests for unique educational, social activities and great shopping opportunities.

    The Midwest Haunters Convention and Midwest Fantasy Show will offer over 45 classes of Weekend Seminars and pre-convention Extended Workshops from some of the top people in haunted attraction, artist and family entertainment industries. Weekend Seminars have been updated on our website and include several more classes with great instructors. The Midwest Haunters Convention offers seminars in Makeup, Acting, Business, Haunt Design and Props.
