  • Christmas Haunt

Okay, so I was thinkin' the other day, why do the haunts have to be closed after Halloween? I mean I understand if its out door because of weather conditions and stuff but what if it was indoor? So I thought there should be a haunt during Christmas time, which I think there actually is one at the ScareHouse in Pittsburgh, where there is an insane Santa Clause, killing elves and reindeer that eat people. You could also do a Tooth Fairy thing and this I think is REALLY scary. Have it be like a dentist office and there's all these teeth everywhere all bloody and gross and people have like those reverse bear trap looking things on their mouths and there's like glitter everywhere and laughter. That would be scary. Someone should do that tooth fairy thing if someone already did please tell me because that scares me. Ethan out.

    Open Every Night

Here at The Ravens Grin Inn.
There is some Christmas business out there, it's the "College Kids Home for Christmas" crowd.
Some Decembers have been very good, some Decembers Naw!
But we are here all the time anyway,so we aren't paying any helpers to make it happen.
We have never done the "Butcher Shop" Motiff here. I think some normal haunt fans might not appreciate a gory , evil "Christmas" event.
I have read about Haunts trying to put on a Christmas Light Show, which migfht be a ton of work for just the Grandparents who only want to spend a small admission fee to show small kids the colored lights on display.....

It has always seemed rather foolhardy to elect to climb a ladder to the second floor of a two-story house during the time of the year when so many have the worst "Ladder-Weather " imaginable. Then when it's time to remove those lights and decorastions, the weather is STILL bad, slippery, gusts of wind, ice...??

I went to my first one last weekend and had a VERY fun time. Not as scary as the Halloween event but definitely fun...

        Chicago..

Almost every haunt in Chicago is doing it this year. Along with escape rooms and zombie shoots.

Im going to check out a few to see how they are. It doesn't hurt to support other local haunts.
