We also let the public know that no lights of any kind are allowed in the Haunt.

I would also put something about the use of fog machines (if you use any)

This attraction uses special effects that are designed to be terrorfying such as fog, strobe lighting, and loud sudden noises and IS NOT reccomended for pregnant women or people with epelepsy, respatory, and heart complications. Oh, and did we mention a weak stomach! This attraction, or anyone affiliated with it, are not responsible for any lost articles or accidents while touring the attraction.

          Ravens Grin Tours: Humour

          Excitement

          premature Death!

          Physical and Mental Risk

I personally do not like glow sticks but will allow them if the entire group is one group, all came here together, I just make them shield them during the first room.
Glow Sticks can add a feeling of security for the timid, but just design the house to compensate , still being able to scare them, inspite of the glowing stick, then you really get them!
The previous posters all ready covered everything else, well maybe not allowing customers to have sex in the bathroom?
Keep a hose hooked up , make sure it is real cold water.

I used to allow a person who was stupid-drunk in the tour IF they had a "Keeper" (I would discover they were this way after the door closed) who promised to babysit them, but this never worked because usually the "Keeper-Babysitter" was just a few minutes behind having the alcohol affect them, since they were all chugging just "X" number of minutes ago.
One of my signs mentions them needing "A Note From Their Bartender", hahahah!

We actually have rules and a warning printed on our tickets, website and banners hanging down before you enter. Has anyone ever seen this on my website...

Last year we made a few custom videos just for the Haunt Rules. It worked out really well we thought. The videos were a mixture of our Que Line dvd and then every 5 minutes the rules were explained in detail by our narrator (with text on the screen) and then the Que Line would start up again. The video would loop forever and would be displayed on screens outside and inside the haunt.

Kinda a creative way in getting your point across. Just my 2 cents!

I thought you might like that. LOL

That is what you get from 18 years of learning the hard way! LOL

To be honest I paid an attorney a lot of money to write that stuff up, which went along with what I personally wrote.

Now we print this on everything they get from their tickets on down!

They can't say we didn't alert them!
