  • How would this work...?

I have been in talks with a business who operates a nursery. The nursery is open from mid April and closes for the season late July. I might be able to lease part of the nursery including some great outbuildings and field. This would make a great haunt. However, my question is if I was to lease the property for 4 months, how would insurance work out. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

      insurance

Also speak to your local insurance rep. This situation might work with renters insurance and specialty insurance only for the dates open. I found the rates for specialty insurance were much less through companies represented by my agent.

larry, I guess the question is: the nursery business has his own insurance for his property. If I'm coming in as leasing the property for my business, would I need to have my own insurance for the 4 months? Thanks for the responses.

Yes, seeing as to how his business is a nursery, and yours is a haunted attraction, you would need your own / more insurance than what his is offering. I'm sure he's not going to want one of YOUR accidents raising his premium.

Your insurance should be relatively inexpensive, just call Ken.

You would need Ins for your Haunt buzz and a put the nursery on as a rider , because if something were to happen during your haunt where someone would sue you they would also try suing the nursery.
