Year Round Events/Income

I was just wondering what some of you are doing in the off season to help with the costs of rent and insurance. I know that seasonal shows are becoming more and more popular, but was wondering if any of you are trying anything else? I saw a vendor at Transworld selling something similar to a laser tag system for guests to be able to "shoot" zombies/monsters and thought that might be a cool concept or something new to do in the off season.

Anyone else have previous experiences with these types of events? Do your off season events have a big enough draw for the staffing/hassle?

Would love some input on this!
