Awsome work. I can not imagine doing what you do . How do you figure out where to cut so it turns out the way you want when it is such a large project.
where can you buy the big foam blocks that you use?

        Wtwtw,

First I like to say Im not the one who does this. Im only a lucky helper on this.

We located a company American Foam Products near us. You can get block up to 16ft long and 4ft thick.

John made a concept drawing to the clients liking.
From there he used a projector to blow it up to full size on tyvek(large paper)and Cut out each rock .
Then he made templates out of plywood with a jigsaw.
Plywood was then placed on both sides of the block of foam and a hotwire road the edges of both plywoods giving you the shape of the rock. Did this for the entire mountain and it fit like puzzle.

That is probably the coolest entrance I've ever seen for a car wash. Larry

                Very cool -

Great work but I have to ask - In the video the cars all seem to exit that facade, is the other end done as well? Seems kind of a waste if most people aren't seeing that great detail, looks like the opposite end also faces the busy road.

Yes, the entire thing is on the other side as well. The exit faces the main road and the back entrance faces the mall behind it.

They have an agreement that he can haunt the facade for video of his new creature coming out of the cave opening, with a red waterfall.
They will cover up the sign rock with cloth and airbrush it to blend......
