Zombie Guts - How to

Hey everyone:

I apologize if I have posted this in the wrong forum.

I am thinking about trying my hand into making some intestines for some zombie scenes. Anyhow, I have watch a few youtube videos where they are using, paper, packing peanuts and other items to form the intestines and then using latex as the cover.

I am looking to do something that would last. Does anyone have an opinion as to the best way to do this? Is there a suggested "base" material to use? Would it be better to use silicone instead of latex or is that much harder to do? Is there an online tutorial using silicone?

There is a video that Halloween Productions made called how to gore, and I think they actually did that on the video. I'd have to go back and watch it again to see what they suggested. You should consider getting their videos.
