What would you guys recommend for a first year haunt for bodies? We are a school themed haunt in an old school. Our storyline is a young girl who brutally murdered her female teacher who was dating a male teacher that the young girl had a crush on. They never found her body. That's it in a nutshell. So obviously we are making the school look like an old school. We scored a truck load of stuff from the 1920's last night (the decade our story takes place) including some antique school desks, games, paint, shelves, etc...I'm nervous about bodies though. Whether they're dead or alive, I really don't have the budget for 50 or more bodies at $1k each. I think I saw somewhere online a few months ago a place that had "budget" bodies....any thoughts? Thanks in advance...

Phillip Morris sells lots of halloween costumes and props. He was also an old Spook Show magician in the 1950s and 1960s. (We featured him in our Spook Show trading card set.) He's a real stand up guy.

We payed $300 a piece for the "budget" bodies from Dapper Cadaver. If you can afford that plus have creative ability, you can make custom ones from those. Asylum Props has budget bodies as well for a little less than that. Again, they're not high quality as something from Ghost Ride, but with the right creative ability, can look close. The ones from Dapper, I had to trim the flashing and I used a pneumatic sprayer to base coat it in latex paint. After that, easy enough to customize. I added punched hair, eyes, etc.O'Shawn McClendon
