I see some haunts charging more on a Sat compared to other nights. I understand the reason is probably due to the higher volume, busy nights. What would the proper answer be to patrons questions about how you can charge more on one night compared to another? I am sure patrons ask this question.

Do not say "we charge more" but "we discount thursdays and sundays to try to even the crowd flow. This allows us to have a more steady flow and lessens the crowd on the Saturday night you came so we can give a better show. We do this even though payroll is over $400 an hour and we have thousands tied up in advertising and scenery".

Thats a good way to answer that question. We want to increase Sat nights to lessen the crowds to disperse to Fri and Sun nights. We saw some haunts charge more on Sat nights which we were wondering how to justify. So if we charge $22 on Fri and Sun then Sat $25 then we can say Fri and Sun are discount nights.Comment
