Did anyone see the new pics of what the Harry Potter park will look like in Universal Orando? This place looks amazing!!!!

It looks pretty sweet. From what sources have told me they are just adding to and readjusting the current fantasy area at IOA.

I just hope the dueling dragons still stays the same.

They announced that like a month ago... I think it will be awesome.

There really not building all that from scratch though, they're converting much of the existing castle themed area into this Harry Potter thing. But in all honestly I don't think they could have done anything better than this.

To actually walk through Harry's world sounds pretty cool if you're a Harry Potter fan. I think they're building a dark ride to go with it.

It was announced a while back but the pics are pretty new. Looks great. I don't remember the castle themed area at IOA, it's been a little while since I've been there. I was wondering how they could build all that so fast, by converting an existing area it will speed things up.

Potter has the timeless staying power like Rings and Star Wars. It will ladt and the current Fantasy area at IOA already rocks, so I think the Potter world will never lose the touch even if its just with kids who only know the movies.

Yeah - I think that's probably true, and so must the two studios who are investing money in this endeavor. I do wonder what will happen to movie ticket sales and merchandising if Harry does die in book 7. I'm pulling for Harry this weekend to kick some Voldemort behind.

Speaking of Rings, could you imagine a Middle Erth themed park? That would be amazing ann very popular if done right. There is so much to work with in those stories, so many possibilities.

I'd be up for gutting a few orcs with the shards of Narsil. Especially if there were a few vivacious elf maidens around that looked like Liv Tyler cheering me on.
