Hi folks...

Well, the "House of the Dead" haunt in nearing completion.

The chill is in the air....... and the haunt is really taking shape.

I think I own stock in Ibuprofin and a number of drywall
screw companies!

I spent most of my time yesterday on two rooms.....
and installing sound systems....

Tonight I have to finish up all the sound tracks for each room
and get those loops burnt to disk, over to the haunt and
tested.

I'm also meeting with the owner to finalize the radio spot
and get all that mixed down and off to the radio station.

Hopefully my makeup will make it to me this week and
I'll have time to practice...

I can't wait until opening night!!!

Are you sure you won't get in trouble using the name House of the Dead? Isn't that name trademarked?

The owner of the haunt has used that name for
YEARS.....
I'm sure that if he was worried in the least he would have changed it.

That said... I'll ask him...

Better safe than sorry. Wouldn't want to see the Haunt get sued and have to shut down.

"House Of The Dead" Seems extremely genaric to me, probably pretty "safe".
I think the first "House Of the Dead" was located in ancient Greece a few thousand years ago. They might own the name?
Although there may be some advantages in having your haunt have an extremely genaric name, this factor could hurt someone's hard work and efforts if someone nearby operated a "Slocky" haunt and had the same name. This would suck.
