  • Funding a New Haunt

I'm looking into opening my own haunted attraction in the next couple of years. I have the theme and everything laid out, but I need the money to back the idea up. How do you find the initial money for construction? What is the best route (loans, sponsors, etc)?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Three words of advice: "Ask your Grandma."
She's old, gets social security, maybe inherited money along the way, saved money she earned.
Of course if your Grandma is a banker, then forget it.

Master Card , Visa , Discover , Diners Club ? I think you will find that you will put more blood , sweat and tears into your haunt then money. Althrough it takes a lot of that too, save your money try and get a loan. Putting some of your money into it will show the bank that you are willing to take a risk with your cash and just not theirs. Start small and build it up not only will that cost you less when you start but will let you see how you my want to take your show.

you might want to look into partnering with a non-profit organization. if they have a location, and you have a money maker (haunt) its a win win.
