I'm studying to be a screenwriter (one of my college majors) and I've had quite some experience before in writing (I'm also a musician and write lyrics). So, maybe I can help?!

RE: Need a scriptwriter for my haunt

Someone to weave a tale of familial homicide,
or the story of a scary house where phantoms lurk inside,
be it ghouls or beasts or frightful wraiths,
wearing grease paints or bloody masks,
I'd be glad to offer my help,
to see if I'm up to the task...

I think you should write the basic story then have someone embelish it. If you have someone else write the whole thing ... then it's their story ... not yours.

That's what we did and it works great. Most people think ours is 100% real, but only 50% is.

Only 50% true...but then on certain times those 1/2 true parts swap idenitys with the false halves and it really becomes confusing everyone?
