  • Thoughts & Prayers for Jonathan Johnson

Our good friend and haunt industry luminary Jonathan Johnson lost a close member of his family today (November 16) due to a sudden, tragic accident.

Jonathan's commitment to the industry and Rotting Flesh Radio is such that he took the time to stop in the RFR Chat Graveyard and let everybody know that the show wouldn't be posted today.

It is that integrity, that he would stop and think about the show and his listeners at a moment of intense personal pain, that makes Jonathan a man we love and respect, as a friend, as an associate, as a collaborator and as one of the better examples of what the haunted attraction industry has to offer.

Because this was so sudden, Jonathan and his family are now faced with unexpected medical and funerary expenses. I am spearheading a donation campaign to help the Johnsons cover some of these costs - if you are a friend or colleague of Jonathan's, a fan of Rotting Flesh Radio, or just want to help, please give what you can to help ease him and his family in this time of pain and loss. Anything will be appreciated; all money donated will go directly to The Johnsons.

    Thank you.

I wanted to take a moment and thank you all for your kind words and prayers. It truely is appreciated. Many of you know I am pretty strict on keeping RFR seperate from my personal life, but I was amazed by all the warm words and gestures from everyone.

It is a great feeling to know many of you are here in case anyone needs you. We truely are a haunt family.

I thank you all once again in more words than I can actually type.

Sorry to hear about that... you know that is life, you just never know when something bad is going to happen or for that matter something good. When these things happen they're almost always unexpected, and very emotionally draining. Keep your pumpkin lit!!! Larry
