  • Is this right?

I went out to the Jaycees trail today and took a look around and about fell down. They had power all over the woods but the power lines in gray pvc were not underground but laying on the ground. It started at the meter and then went to a short pole that had gfr covered outlets and then went through the woods to another short pole with more outlets and so on and so on and so on. I'm I wrong or do those pipes need to be underground? If so how the he// do they get away with that?

I could be wrong, but they might get away with it by referring to it as just a temporary installation.
That is small fries compared to what I have seen charity haunts get away with. At least the electrical wires are inside conduit of some sort. I know of a FIRE DEPARTMENT that runs a black plastic funeral pyre waiting to happen, and no one seems to care. Did I mention it is run by a FIRE DEPARTMENT? Job security, perhaps?
