Being just a smartazz I could say, "Sometimes "good" isn't good enough!
Really though it's all conjecture. Have a test audience showing, trying to get a cross of ages and potential customers .
Good commercials do seem to somehow have an amount of staying power within the mind.
I once had a very good commercial showing on cable tv, unfortunately for an expense of $1,000.oo I only saw about ten customers from it (I ask people where they are from and how they found out about my place, we also have caller I.D. and do reservations by mail)
Cable tv,"Click!" "Click!" "Click!" "Click!" "Click!", "Naw, nothing on......."
Too many channels, too much channel-surfing, quite a crap-shoot.

We have spend the budget and can't squeeze anymore.....

Dream Reapers under went a huge change for this season.

1 part was done prior to TW
1 part (4000 square feet) is almost done now

With all the $ we sunk into the improvements and the other advertising this year.....we just can't spend anymore $$$$ we just don't have it.

So we will go back to what we always do...radio and KIDS WITH FLYERS
It has always worked in the past.

But I just wanted to post so it wasn't a total waste

Ken, I'm not sure where you are or who your sponsers are but, maybe you can burn that onto a dvd and set up a little scary scene with the TV playing your commercial. If you could find a place that would let you, like maybe a Spirt Halloween store or the Mall, just a idea.

We have Monster......they are pretty good at keeping the guys running all month.

Other than them???? Forget it....we have tried and really don't have time to beg people anymore. We opened handicapped in Chicago and have pretty much done it all ourselves from the construction to the $$$, for the last 7 years.

We are still doing all the other adds(radio-newspaper-internet) which I think are going to run us $30g's by the time it all done...just not TV.
We have also been in 2 articles in the newspaper so far this year so that always helps.

And people think we make a ton of money every year.....sure that's why I drive a car with 90,000 miles on it......
