Sadly, from their glory days at Universal and Hammer, it seems that today vampires are the "Star Trek" of the horror genre.

    Wait a minute!
Suppose you were stranded on a desert island, who would you rather be there with, a Zombie or a Vampire?
At least with the vampire you could possibly have a conversation about some interesting things that they had seen and done over the last 400 years. (Can you tell I like history?)
What would the zombie have to talk about?
Zombies aren't much fun, I was in school with some of them, of course by their being there it made my schoolwork look better!

Either can be scary or dumb. A vampire is out for blood and can leap and fly and stuff. I can outrun a zombie. But zombies are dead and creepy. But they can come off looking like someone who just got shot with a tranquilizer dart and that's not scary. I tire of the Bela Lugosi/Universal Vampire look. I like Evil Ed in Fright Night.

I am a combination of both. I have the rotting flesh, but have a sharp set of teeth and a taste for blood. Hmm, does that make me a Zombpire?

Actually, ScareYou2, I think that may make you a Vampbie.

BTW, where was this "Hall of Horror" in the 70s when I lived and schooled in Columbia?
