This weekend I went to the Headless Horseman haunt in NY, and before I ask my question, let me just say.....wow, my faith in haunts has been restored. This was my first trip out of state for a haunt and I plan to do this a lot more, haha.
How does a haunt reach this magnitude? From years and years of additions? I am reffering to the Headless Horseman only because it's the most recent example, but as far as hauntworld mag said about the history, the owners bought a farm and then built this gigantic attraction? this can't be... The business factors included with the gift shops and layout of attractions I have the most respect for, but where did all this come from? On top of that, the management of security, actor payroll, insurance, advertisement, they can't be doing all this alone.
In other words, start small?
