  • Woods of Terror Build Pictures

Well i have to hand it to our loyal crew of builders this weekend because it was BEYOND Hotter than Hell !!

Temps spiked well over 100+ with very humid conditions yesterday and today!
We packed up last night arond 5 and headed to the local swimming hole it was so nice to hit the lake!

We had about 8 people show up yesterday and then i stayed and worked alone today on some detail work. (trim and railing work)

Im putting up a series of pictures, enjoy! It's from beggining back in November with teardown until this afternoon which will be the bottom picture. No we have not worked every weekend on this but more like quite a few.
Im expecting completion on this over the next few weekends all depending on when material arrives. (tin roof, and paint were waiting on!) Decorating will be finished off later this year.

Thats pretty cool I like it. Reminds me when I used to work for someone back a few years ago and would help build for a haunted hayride.

Neat building, Kevin. Some of the wood panels look like they are grooved or corrugated. Or is that just from the digital photos?

It looks good so far, but I can' really criticize until I see it at night with special lighting. Great lighting truly brings a set to life and I think with the proper techniques it could be incredible for what you're trying to achieve.

Heres a couple more pictures gang. I worked all Fathers day by my lonesome but hey it was very peaceful and the weather actually cooled down to a bearable 93 degree's.

First floor is done, finished up the railing's, wrapping the posts and adding the crown moulding. Next saturday the tin roof goes on!
