This is probably more of a preference thing than anything else. I like FX FACES http://www.boneyardfx.com prosthetics and Graftobian RMG makeup for foam prosthetics. Though http://www.bodybagging.com/ has some cool stuff on their site.

There is a list of good vendors already started on another thread.... http://www.hauntworld.com/haunted_ho...ead.php?t=5450

If you can do it, find someone willing to work for you who makes their own. That way you'll get things that no one else has.

I make masks, prosthetics, teeth and whatever strikes my fancy. The haunt I work at has used quite a few of them.

Most makeup people dabble in making things.

Additionally, we construct new pieces on faces using all manner of stuff--keep a good supply of single ply toilet paper around and your makeup artists will be able to make all sorts of things. Last year I recreated the Juggernaut from 13 ghosts using a few old foam pieces, liquid latex, and tp. I made the girl from Imprint with nothing but tp and latex.

Good prosthetics help, but good makeup artists can do it without them.

Im totally with jack on this one!

We have bought prosthetics for years and yes there are some great ones out there. BUT this offseason we hired Josh Monroe to come in and teach us how to make prosthetics and masks and dam are we excited about learning this!

Learning it opens up a whole new world of NEW never seen products and it moves us further into the one of a kind items at our haunt !

NEVER thought i would enjoy sculpting but this has become very fun for me!
