  • Photoshare Gallery Question

Currently I am using Kodakgallery to share my pictures with friends/family. I would like a photoshare gallery that has a "private" feature, meaning mainly that you could make it so people could not forward the pictures out to people or a password to sign in and view them.

I realize if someone is determined to do so they could just save the pictures and do what they want with them. However, the person I'm having the most trouble with showing pictures that should not be shared wouldn't be that technologically savvy.

Can anyone recommend a photo gallery website that offers more restrictions and privacy?

    Thanks.

You should be able to set it up to be private in Kodak, or also there is http://gallery.menalto.com/ , http://www.shutterfly.com/

    Hope that helps.

      Thanks for the links Jonathan.

I can require that friends login to view my pictures in kodakgallery but then they can forward those pictures on to other people.

I just looked up shutterfly's policy and basically as long as people have the link to where the pictures are anyone can view them.

Guess I need to go back 10 years when you just had hard copies of pictures and the only people that saw them were thsoe you showed the photo album to....

Does anyone use a site that allows for more restrictions on who can see the pictures? In the meantime I've just taken down all the "fun" pictures from the Halloween party.
