WANTED: pneumatic props

Hi,
I'm would like to add a animatronic prop of some sort to my home haunt this year. Im 16 and only have a budget of 350-400, but im looking for something somewhat large. I want it to be fast and come right up to the crowd... I realize with only $350 theres not much I can get, I can build a torse or body to a prop I just need the bar mechanism.

Im completely new to pneumatics and still have to buy a compressor.

If you can help me out, or give me some tips on where to look that would be great.

There are several sites that show you how to build one yourself. I have also seen them built out of wood, which is simpler and cheaper and should hold up okay if you are only using it for one or two nights.
