Very Good work man. I don't think you have anything to be ashamed of. Definitely the creepy clown, and that always works in a haunt. Nice Job !!!! Yeah would like more info on your DVD.

          Jason,

I can say I just finished one of your devil mask and the detail on that was WAY better than I realized until I was working on it. The photos on your site don't give those things the credit for the work you put into sculpting them.

                Hey Jason,

Went to your site. I noticed that the site dates are a couple of years old. Unless I am reading wrong. I noticed you had the 5 masks get one free for $32.50 or something like that. Is it still current pricing? May have to look into that more.

Half masks for a low price, can't really beat that. Just curious...Thanks !!

                  Hey Gothy,

Yes the news page has not been updated for a loooooong time why?? we are way to busy for updates and to be honest we want to completly redo the website, the slip mask bundle is the most updated price and a great value!!! we understand the budgets all haunters are under and try to make it affordable to everyone...

Jason, Are all of your masks made with the slush/slip latex? Not foam. Out of curiousity and this can be taken to PM, but do you have several molds of one design or just one mold and make as many casting as you can get?

A Haunt partner and I have been thinking of sculpting our own for our haunt purposes to keep spending costs down. So figured making in house masks. Could come in handy in the long run. I wasn't sure if thats how you had started out, making for your own haunts, and then developed into a business.

I'll talk it over with him and we may get that bundle, since now we don't have the time to make our own, but it would give us start to finish out our props that need heads on....lol.

                      Gothy,

WOW i am going way way back to 1976 when my life was all about universal studios horror figures(frank, dracula ect. you get my point) as i reacted a whopping age of 17 "1987" i had a dream of making halloween masks?? two weeks later i made my very first mask "horrible is being nice" Within a year or two i started selling masks to all the local costume shops, and realized it was never enough, so i applied as a set designer for a local haunt "nightmare in painesville" very nervous going in , i got the job ............The next year i became the head set designer!! 24 different haunts later i said i needed a change so i went to joe blasco make-up center east, and became a true make-up artist! the same day i graduated wowoooo i won the tacky 10 con MAKE-UP AWARD!!! Many months later i did some work with fox turner and then started doing movie make-up and more haunt stuff, yet it was never enough so i applied at a local studio for a gig doing the batman and robin stage shows for six flags through out the world (ya now we are talking) I got the job and loved it...
but it still was not enough... A set design or haunt or two later !! me, steve and todd "maddi in the end" Said lets bring screamline to the masses.... So here we are many years and sacrifices in life later!!! just for the people we are, and the people we love..... To truly answer your question GOTHY yes we have many molds for all our pieces but alot of our sculpts are from movies, stage shows, or haunts.. If it saves money to do your own than i say have at it!! and never look back (just keep screamline studios in your head if you need latex) I love seeing this industry grow!!!! And it makes me proud even if i was a very small part of it all.....

Thanks for filling me in. I always like to here how/who got started. I try to apply any advice or key tidbits that may come in handy. I'm glad you've had a successfull career and still enjoy doing it and wish many more continued joyous years at it. I've bookmarked your site and if funding permits will contact you after this season of haunting.

                            Thanks again for sharing.
