I have a feeling this season will be huge even though it is tough times. People want an escape etc.
As for haunts this weekend open, not sure. I know I am heading out to the Zombithon this weekend for that event.
But from this weekend on its non stop. I know some of the events we are hitting up this year are:
Fright Kingdom, Haunted acres, Haunted Hydro, Goatman Hollow, Universal, Howl O Scream, Woods of Terror, Headless Horseman and like 9 others.
Hope your event is shaping up Staf.

Jonathan your coming to see our show this year! Sweet!!!
Not sure what weekend you have penciled in for the Woods of Terror but the 10th and 11th we have the Svenpuss Haunt Troupe coming down from the Chicago area, my old touring crew.
Might make for a good interveiw.
Let me know when your coming iv'e wanted to meet you for awhile now!

Our "Friends & Family" Night (it's basically a test run/dress rehearsal) was last Saturday and things went quite well, we even had several paying customers come in off the street. Our official opening is this evening and it's a bit of a crap shoot at the moment, since there are still over 100,000 households here in Louisville that are without power, after we experienced an almost total city-wide power failure last Sunday from a freakish windstorm, courtesy of Hurricane Ike..."We all go a little mad sometimes..."
