  • America's Scariest Halloween Attractions

I just saw “America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions” on the Travel Channel. Fantastic! The following events were featured:

    - Eastern State Penn.
    - Thrillvania / Verdun Manor
    - Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride
    - Hangman’s House of Horrors
    - Fright Factory
    - Pirates of Emerson
    - Chamber of Chills
    - Queen Mary

Throughout the show, Leonard Pickel gave his expert opinion on the events. It was an awesome show! If there ever was an example of national promotion of the Haunted Attraction Industry, this is it!

The first one aired back in 2006. I'm pretty sure the 3rd one's airing on October 26th sometime that night.

Travel Travel has great stuff on all October. 'Halloween's Most Extreme' is another good one featuring House Of Shock, Fright Dome, Headless Horseman, and Netherworld.

Speaking of America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions, I made a music video out of it some months back.

I think I still have it somewhere.......ah, here it is. View if you like.

If you go to the Travel Channel's website you can find the air date for the third one which I think airs something like October 24th at 11pm eastern.

I don't know all the attractions on this show but I know a few ...

                    The Darkness, St. Louis

                    Creepyworld, St. Louis

                    Bayville Scream Park, Long Island

I heard but I'm not sure they went to House of Torment, I have the complete list of attractions and I will look them up and report back.

They've also been showing "The Most Terrifying Places" which features the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, OH. They turn it into a haunted attraction every year.

I visited last weekend, and it is phenomenal. Scaredest I've ever been inside a haunt.

Hopefully Leonard Pickle isnt on there reviewing them again! LOL! That would be interesting considering who is on there this year. He might have to eat crow.
