But these political conspiracy theories, I am totally fascinated by them. I've done a lot of reading, from things like the New World Order to the meetings at the Bohemian Club, listening to David Icke (with a grain of salt, of course), just crazy crazy stuff.

Obama's plan is to increase taxes from 36 to 39% on anyone netting $ 250,000. That is reporting $ 250,000 dollars as taxable income, NOT grossing 250k! The rest of the ( 95 % ) population that don't own one of America's scariest 13 haunts won't see an increase in taxes. I am sure that the scariest 13 can pay some tax accountant and lawyer to make sure they get around that. Us little guys can't afford them.

And don't tell me the Republicans are Pro life and against abortion. W Bush had congress on both sides for six years and NEVER was legislation introduced to outlaw abortion. They only want to use it as a wedge in politics to sway voters and Carl Rove did a splendid job helping W last time in using guns, gays, and God to steal votes from the real issues. I believe we need to address abortion, but not illogically.


Yes Larry, it is about MONEY. And I don't think either of us can really afford to be Republicans. I remember twenty years ago, both sides agreed that a person had to make $80,000 per year to benefit from the Republican platform. And we all know that number is probably higher than 250K these days.

McCain did a good job last night in attacking and trying to put words in Obama's mouth, but Obama really is the one talking about issues.

We can drill for tons more oil, but it is like giving a drunk more alcohol, you just end up with a drunk. We need to race to solar and wind power like T Boone Pickens is proposing and Obama is talking about. McCain is giving recent lip service, but he voted AGAINST nearly all those ideas the last few years.

Sarah Palin is nothing more than a GIMMICK. Condeleeza Rice would have been the right choice, there. It is unbelievable how the republicans are attempting to reach the blue collar vote. Joe the plumber needs to be careful McCain doesn't abuse him. Joe the plumber knows how many houses he owns, probably one, not seven, eight, err see my people. Sarah Palin is really so demographically Democrat is is stunning. She hunts and guts moose! She snowmobiles and her husband works for a living. her daughter is seventeen and pregnant. She also uses her power UNETHICALLY.

And since Palin and McCain want to drag mud into it, why did Cindy McCain's family insist on a prenuptial agreement in 1983? Because McCain was cheating on his wife, divorced her in order to marry Cindy. And he dated strippers before that. A few years ago, McCain was highlighted in the Vegasa papers as a big gambler.


I don't want to gamble on him. We have had eight years of record spending and taxe increases. And it wasn't the Democrats doing it. When the deficit is lowest, unemployment is lowest. I personally think that we can't afford, as a nation, to have another 4 yrs of the same crap that has been flung by our resident moron, George W. I think we need a change in the way that this country is run.
Unfortunatley, this is playing out to be a black/ white thing, whether or not anyone wants to admit it. It's a shame that we still have this rampant running of racism (on both the black to white, and white to black side) in the year 2008.
I venture a guess that the majority of those supporting their candidates are only doing so because of their color.
There's also the issue of money. Rich people like McCain, Obama speaks to the middle class. In the end, it will still be politics and we all know how corrupt the system is.

You know, I was really anticipating and hoping for a legitimate debate between candidates this year ... I have tremendous respect and admiration for both candidates, honestly -- and unlike previous elections, I don't find myself actively despising one of the candidates.

I do want to keep the boards positive, and I'm not looking to get into a BASH fest about who you want to vote for... but this is an ISSUE, and ISSUE for the future of your business.

There is no reason to turn it negative and as I've said in the past there is nothing wrong with a debate on any issue, it just doesn't have to get personal which is when it becomes negative.

First, I want to say....Lurker, you crack my shitt up!!!! Loved reading your post. It was a bit off the deap end, but you're probably right in many respects.

Now, as for McCain being rich and Obama speaking to the middle/lower classes....BULL! Obama is a rich dude too. Maybe not as rich as McCain (or should I say McCain's wife, not necessarily McCain). But, at least McCain and his wife give to the poor, adopt the less fortunate, go on mission trips, and LOVE America. Cindy McCain can be compared to someone like Angelina Jolie. They are good (rich) people who GIVE and GIVE to help those less fortunate.

I cannot say the same for Obama. Obama and his wife seemingly hate America, have connections with too many ill-choiced people and organization who hate America, and give less than 1% of their income to charity (...oh and that 1% went to a white racist church for that matter).

If this election comes down to racism, that is pretty sad. But racism goes both ways and Obama shows more racist tendencies then any presidential candidate I've ever seen. He attends a church for 20+ years that preaches on a regular bases that God should'nt "bless" America, God should "damnn" America. This same church preaches American gov't conspiracy theories like (1) our gov't launched AIDS as a form a genocide against the black population, and (2) our gov't enacted the 3 strike policy against drugs to get black people off the streets. And, this church preaches on a regular basis to this black congregation not to ever forget 'you were once enslaved and you are owed'.

Now, I would love to see a black person president. I think that would be truly great for our country and for our world. However, It's absolutely SCARY to think of Obama as our next president.

Finally, I just want to point out that the Democratic party always says they're for "change,". BULL! Through the years, the only one party who's truly been for change and that's Republicans. Anytime there's an Independant trying to run on the ticket, does that person split the D vote or the R vote?...The R vote. This is because Republican Americans DO want change. Democrats don't.

I want change, which is why I'm voting for McCain...GO MCCAIN!!!!!
