  • Building the Ultimate Heare

Hey Folks... we didn't make our hearse in time for this coming year but it will be ready for Transworld 2009 and all future promotions, parades you name it.

This will also be a featured article in the upcoming magazine... Building a Promotion Hearse.

We are building the ultimate hearse with new paint, rims, sound system, decorations, loud speakers, lights you name it... it simply starts in the body shop. It is a pic of our hearse just starting off its new life.

I would love to hear about or see pics of other peoples hearses for this article.

    Thanks
    Larry

That is pretty interesting. I thought about getting one, I need to park something by the road other than a banner.

Post some pictures... I wanna see! Give me some advice! I have my own ideas for this but now that the body is done, (as you can see it looks pretty sharp) now its time to create and I'm open to suggestions.

My hearse was parked right behind the Cutting Edge 4WD Hearse. Do you have any more angles Brad? Its the stock grey one with matching rusty coffin.

Another fabulous post from the U.S.Department of Wild Imaginings, now in spectaclar stereo, sponsored by the Adhesives and Sealants Council, suggesting ways to stick things together since the 1800s. Not fabulous in a gay way. Your results may vary. Illinois residents add 8% sales tax. Hearses

Beautiful hearse, Larry. Is that a Eureka or S&S? I like that body style the best (1980-1992).

Nice 1972 4x4 hearse with the '61-'64 tail fins. Is that a Superior?

              Steve...

PS: The Monster City hearse in one of the Hauntworld videos is a 1969 Cadillac. Not a 1970. Tail lights, corning lights and grill are the dead give away.

Since we are showing off Hearse's.

We actually have 2 hearses. One that we drive around town '71 Caddy with the 21 in. Rims, custom paint, and neons, and the other ('51) that is strictly used for promotions. (i.e. Car Shows, Promo Events, etc.) The Haunted Network, Louisville, KY. (Haunted Hotel, and Industrial Nightmare). While I don't have the picture of our daily driver, here is one that we use for our promotions.

Larry, let me know if you are featuring hearses, we would love to be included in it.

Yeah, a plasma screen mounted on the lid, and what you can't see is a Playstation 3 hooked up, and a killer sound system. Have to have the big stereo to hear over the massive engine.

We had it in the Carl Casper car show this year, but plan to take it to several others. It definitely draws a pretty big crowd, and is good advertising for our haunts.

I have been stopped several times when driving the '71 with people asking about the haunt. A hearse is well worth the investment for the advertising. I think of it as a rolling billboard.
