Greetings all...let it be known that I have no idea how to do pneumatics at all...but I want to lol...I've heard that I can use a screen door thing to make a cylinder....how much force can that thing actually do and how reliable is it?

By the time you buy all the parts you need to make it work you would be better off buying a used one on ebay. It would be better, last infinitely longer, and be incredibly safer.
heck is a cylinder even what i need...what im trying to build is a prop thats prone and hidden but when the crowd approaches the plexiglass it pops up and out smacking into the "glass" ....what kind of mechanic would i want for that?
I have seen the same thing done with a spring and a bungee cord. Of course you would have to manually reset it after every group goes by. You can't beat the price, though.
