    Would a 1930's clown boxing match be one using boxing gloves as big as bushel baskets?
    You wouldn't want an 1898 boxing match, they were bare knucklers back then! The clown with the biggest rubber nose wins, since the nose absorbed the punch's impact.

    No, probably an old hat.
    Of course an old hat may be worth alot of money if it was made by the hat maker who bought the first concert ticket to hear Jenny Lind sing, as advised by P.T.Barnum, her promoter.
    Buying that first ticket, which was put up for bids made the haberdasher famous!???
