Another Horror Based TV Show

Does anyone else notice the number of horror themed shows that are hitting the airwaves?

Paranormal this that and everything, Ghost Hunters America, International, or Third World Country, Estate of Panic, etc.

I make fun, but obviously it hightens awareness, which is a good thing.

Well here's another one. A reality show, filmed in the Louisiana bayou from what I understand.

What I found particularly interesting, is that the video trailer, seemed very similar to trailers or commercials that a lot of us put together, advertising our events.

Anyone else watch the premier of this show, it was on tonight.

I did! I liked it!
I've been reading negative reviews that it rips off Saw or whatever...
But I did enjoy it! Hope all 8 episodes air!
Plus it's produced by Sam Raimi and Ghost House Pictures and Jay Bienstock.

Not sure what channel the CW is, never heard of that. Is that WGN? I thought that was the WB.

I think the CW is the channel that was formed after the WB and WGN merged.

Think "Fear Factor" meets "Saw" without real death.

I'm pulling for the mo-hawk kid. He had mentioned something about working/being in haunts. They were all dropped off in the woods and then came upon a shack that looked like it was out of a horror movie - blood, cobwebs, everything distressed. This kid was like "cool" and admiring it all. Everyone else was panicked.

Their first challenge - they all had to split up and go into the woods, and then find/save their partners but one of them had to volunteer to stay "alone" in the scary shack. Right away this kid was like, "I'll stay." Unfazed. While everyone else is freaking, this kid is keeping his cool - love it.

Yeah I figured it out, it is WGN. At least, around here it's WGN. Well I think I'll have to set my Tivo, this show actually looks promising.

I'm still waiting for that reality show where they take the best haunters and they have a month to make a haunted house or something like that. When will that be on? haha.

I like how his hair started to droop more and more as the show went on.

I liked it as well. The cabin was pretty cool. Nice set design. I'll continue to watch as long as it doesn't start going down the "Real World" path with a bunch of fighting and make out sessions. Not sure I believe they really buried those girls. Seems pretty dangerous. They sure looked scared though. Maybe a simulater or something and then a staged exit with the winner.
