It frequently became the temporary home of transients who used the river as a mode of travel. The building has changed owners several times after unfortunate tragedies. There have been numerous deaths on the grounds and locals prefer not to discuss its history. Self guided tours will have the opportunity to explore this 124 year old haunt.

    - Demon House –
    Monongahela, PA 15063
    www.demonhouse.com
During the excavation for the original mansion in 1871, workmen discovered bones from a human hand. After further digging, they unearthed well over 70 unmarked graves on the land that was deemed to be the Demon House. It is a Mansion that literally feeds upon itself. Following a horrible incident in 1894, the house was boarded up and it remained empty until 2004.
The new owners of the house discovered the land that the mansion now sits upon was used as a burial ground for a civilization that once populated the land of Monongahela, Pennsylvania. Here’s your chance to see this iconic haunted attraction. Small groups will enter for a self guided tour. This is one of the most unusual haunted houses you’ve ever seen.
We’ll enjoy food and beverages upon arrival; courtesy of the Demon House cast and crew.

Hundred Acres Drive, South Park, PA
We will have a catered dinner when we arrive. After dinner we’ll tour one of the largest haunted attractions in the state, Hundred Acres Manor.

    West Mifflin, PA
    Route 837, south of I-376
We’ll arrive at the park early for a private behind the scenes, lights-on tour of the newest Dark Ride, Ghostwood Estate. It’s a creation of Halloween Productions that opened in the summer of 2008. This is your chance for a rare opportunity to see one of the most elaborate dark rides in the amusement industry. There’s lots of computer generated animation with incredible sets behind a massive haunted mansion facade.
Kennywood offers roller coasters, water rides, thrill rides, dark rides and special shows, along with many other attractions.
Lord Ghostwood has agreed to allow visitors to tour his haunted domain. It seems Ghostwood Estate has attracted countless spirits over the decades. It must be a comfortable place because they have refused to leave. Now his home is unbearably overcrowded. Join us as groups of four will have the opportunity to ride in a buggy throughout the estate. Instead of tracks or a steering wheel, the spirits of Ghostwood Estate will guide your buggy through the attraction.

Bus # 2 departs Kennywood at 3:45 pm
Bus # 3 departs Kennywood at 5:00 pm

    Former West Virginia Penitentiary
    Moundsville, WV
The West Virginia Penitentiary was built with convict labor on a flat partial of land surrounded by mountains from 1867-1876. The prison's Gothic architecture reflects the predominant prison architectural style in England and America at the time. Over the next 120 years, 998 prisoners died at the prison. This Former West Virginia Penitentiary housed some of the most violent criminals in history.
You’ll be introduced to one of the scariest places behind bars! You will experience the fright of being locked up in a cell, the fear of being lost in a maze and the terror of an eerie walk through the underground dungeon of horrors! The prison is known to have one of the highest levels of paranormal activity in the United States.
The producers of MHC toured the prison in August 08 and while exploring the basement; one person in our group felt someone playing with her hair. Not only did she run out of the area, but she refuses to go to the broiler room again!
We will offer a prison ghost tour of the upper floors in the afternoon, followed by a catered dinner in the prison cafeteria. The evening awakens the spirits for our self guided tour of the prison basement dungeon. The natural ambience helps create a bone chilling experience.
