I don't think I could have picked a better time to start preparing for my upcoming seminar at Transworld in March ("Creating Powerful Images and Videos To Market Your Haunt")
Just as I started digging through literally hours of footage (both from my haunt and from others across the country) - I found out that our online trailer for 2009 won a Telly award ... again! (The Tellys are based around local and regional video productions done for tv, cable, and internet) This is the 2nd year in a row that our ScareHouse trailer has won the award, so I'm all kinds of buzzed.
I also received a nice batch of "lost" ScareHouse stills that I'm currently uploading to our facebook and myspace pages, but thought I would also share on the the haunt forums.
With the average attention spans shrinking, and radio ratings dropping - I think that creating high-impact graphics, photos, and/or video is more important than ever ... especially when those images reinforce the core components of your marketing and positioning. Plus, I'm finding that the social networks are all hungry beasts ... always waiting for more photos, more video, and more stuff...
Anywho, here are a few fun shots -- hope to see "yinz guys" at the seminar.
