  • Building of a Trailer Haunt

    Now the fun begins.

I got my first trailer of 4 I bought, delivered today.
I was to meet the driver at 8:30 am so I got there
at 7:30, but to my surprise the trailer was already there.

Just a typical December in SoCal. A sunrise with
palm trees and blue skies in the background.

So I loaded the surfboards and off to the beach.
No! No! Wait, Strike that, I meant to say.
I loaded the caskets and off to the haunt.

        Hey PH

Not even a seconded look, after all it is SoCal.
A lady at the storage looked at me and said
" Oh you must work for a mortuary"

haha, cars either show down or speed up when I am unloading from my storage, I keep the corpses in the front and usually they see the charred one......

THAT my friend is what I need to know.
things such as interlinking, power requirements, and the technical stuff.

The "this is what we have inside" videos are cool but I want the down and dirty info.

I would like to hear things like how much it costs to move them when you want and where you want, If there is a rent where you are keeping them and working off season. As in how does or will this compare with smaller trucks, lots of walls and storage garages. It is a not right now thing, maybe later as in the real world experience. I'm sure it is more but this could be offset by moving and set up labor to some degree. To what degree I wonder.

I really lucked out to have a nice large building provided every year but, it may not always be that way. I have seen large more than a decade haunts go to a 5 trailer unit. I didn't get time to see what the show was like.

Another fabulous post from the U.S.Department of Wild Imaginings, now in spectaclar stereo, sponsored by the Adhesives and Sealants Council, suggesting ways to stick things together since the 1800s. Not fabulous in a gay way. Your results may vary. Illinois residents add 8% sales tax. Today's acquisition

I picked up this generator from NightmareTony in a trade.
It hasn't been started in years, so I need to see if I can get it
                            running.

                              Hey STITI

                              I bought 4 - 40ft trailers and want to get 2 more
for a total of 6 trailers.

That will give me 1,920 sq ft of haunt, with a
court yard of 3,800 sq ft.
