    Ok,
The show floor closes at 5 pm and the Feargrounds tour is at 8 pm. That leaves 3 hours for dinner and traveling. There is a place in Milwaukee that is very unique, it is called the Safehouse. http://www.safe-house.com/

I heard about it before I moved away from the area but have never been there. Most times you have to know the password to get in, or you have to do something embarrassing before they let you enter. Heard bathroom used to have a trick in it that turned on a microphone that broadcast out into the bar.

It has been chosen as Milwaukee's top theme bar. They can take up to 250 people according to their website. The banquet menu looks good for groups. http://www.safe-house.com/banquet/menu.html

Wisconsin cookout would be a proper suggestion. This place has open bar by the hour prices if you schedule a real banquet. COOOL.

It is behind the storefroon of International Exports Ltd., 779 N. Front Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202,

Here is a couple of youtubes; one of a group trying to enter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4qjp...eature=related
and one of a couple having to endure the entry without a password. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szIjFkQ__IM

This is where I am going! Shane? Patti?

Who's in????? password will be: HAUNTCON

I have been to the Safe House many times living on the East Sideof Milwaukee through College.

Its a great place. If you need any help getting this one all tied together let me know. I live like 20 min from the place. Remember you have to say the secret word to get in. No I'm serious. LOL.

Could also do Tailgate style which is true Milwaukee Fashion. Brats, Beer and good times.

OMG< that sounds fun! I have not been there in like 10 years. Seriously, you guys should check it out. They have all kinds of cool things to look at and do. They even have a phone booth you can use to call your wife etc. You want to tell her you are working late at the office, you push a button and there is the sounds of an office enviroment. You want to tell them your stuck at the airport, a sound of an airport in the background. LOL< best of all, I KNOW THE PASS WORD< or used to. Damn, hopefully they dont change it all the time...

    BUt yeah, Im in!!

    Thanks Brett!!
I was talking about that bar but couldn't remember the name!!

A couple of friends found our way there about 20 years ago. We couldn't remember the passwaord, tried everything to get the girl to give us a pass!

There were a couple oranges in a bowl on her desk. I picked them up and offered to teach her to juggle, my friend steals them in mid-juggle and states HE will teach her, I steal them back exclaiming I'm a better teacher..ya da ya we provide an adlibbed impromptu little performance. She laughed and said we had earned our way and gave us the password.

As we came down the stairs we were met with a round of applause from the bar, we didn’t know the entry room was under surveillance, the bar had watched and heard everything!! Good part is we got quite a few free drinks!! It was pretty cool 20 years ago, good to know it’s still around.! Go there if you can….just find out the password first!!!

    Brett,

That is the same bar that Major League one with Charlie Sheen was shot at. Most people do not know unless they watch the credits, but that movie about the Cleveland Indians was shot mainly in Milwaukee. Anyway, I will ask Timmer and Ann marie the pass word, because I heard it could be brutal trying to get in if you do not know the pass word. Johnathan, do you know it, since you used to go there back in the day? Who is going to be at Hauntcon? Who is going to the Fear grounds tour on Friday night. I have been there many times, Timmer's place is HUGE and the Haunts are awesome. I think they are having a buffet and open bar as well. All for what $35.00 Shane are you going?

I remember them filming Major League here in the old Stadium before it got demo and Miller Park was built.

I do know the password and have been there many times. In fact I was just there 3 months ago.

    I am game.

I think if Jonathan could go in there and talk to them, he can try to convince them that the password for our group would be HAUNTCON.

    Up to it Jonathan?
