  • Product Recommendation?

We're wanting to project on the side of the Raycliff Manor building, both live feed and recorded footage of people going through Raycliff Manor for the people waiting in line to watch. Does anyone have any recommendations on a projector/product that can do this? I appreciate any direction and recommendations!

I would definitely suggest painting some goo on the side of your building, it will really pop the image, as long as your okay with having a nice gray square on your building...

As for projectors just check out the lumens, and the inputs it takes...
It really depends on how much light leakage you have coming from other sources where you will project this image. Here is a nice guide...

We bought one of these for our Movies at the convention - not AMAZING but for the money it did a good job - only 2,000 lumens but we have not had any issues and most come w/ an extra bulb - which is normally a $150 - $300 expense when it does blow!

This one actually comes w/ 2 spare bulbs for under $300

        Good Luck!

Depending on what your venue is... I would suggest that a contrast ratio of only 600:1 as shown in the ebay listing is a little on the low side... unless your in near complete darkness...

I would try to get something closer to 1000:1. For about $500 - $550, you can pick up a 2500 lumen, 1800:1 DLP projector without looking very hard.

I'd been looking into projection paint recently and decided to get the Behr "Silver Screen" paint - a less expensive alternative-for us. Not used it yet.. it's going on a curved surface..I'll post a review when we use it..
            anyone else used that brand?
