I saw it and it was simply awesome!

It had a few unexplained flaws but overall I think this was exactly the way to go to relaunch this franchise! TOP NOTCH! Good job! Who else saw this awesome movie!

It was really good! I was impressed with the job they did with it. I'd love to see them bring it back as a tv series with those actors in the parts. It is going to suck to have to wait every two years for a fix.
And, I can't get that green Orion chick out of my head. She was smoking hot!

Saw it, thoroughly enjoyed it, never really been a fan, so kinda wanted to like it if Trekkies or Trekkers didn't, and vice versa, never really been a Trek fan. In the end it looks like both sides liked it, doesn't happen that often.

                    the power of marketing...

I took my son (age 10) to see Star Trek this weekend.

Prior to this movie he was 100% loyal to anything and everything 'Star Wars' and had never showed interest in watching a single episode of anything 'Star Trek'.

                    After watching the movie?

He's been asking me a million questions about the Star Trek universe, was shocked that there's 10 movies and about a dozen different tv series, and wants to see all of them, right now. (oh, and he wants the Burger King glasses too.)

It was very cool to see a whole new universe open up in his eyes.

                      Michael,

My 17 yr old was the same. He never showed any interest in ST (which I'm a big Trekkie, collector, etc) Now he thought the movie was awesome and is curious about more ST universe. I loved it. Great to bring fathers and sons together isn't it.
