I need some fast paced, without lyrics music. I can strip the lyrics from most songs, but it leaves a dullness or a faint vocal back ground.
    Any ideas or suggestions?

I'm talking Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden - type hard - fast paced - but without vocals. Frustrating it is... You know what you want but finding it is tough...

    Any help is mucho appreciated!

So many great songs are ruined w/ vocals....

After searching a little on iTunes, the name "Joe Stump" came up. He has a long list of songs, none of which I think have any lyrics in them.

Look for anything put out by Shrapnel Records back in the 80's. LOTS of good instrumental speed metal and such. A few suggestions:

      Tony MacAlpine
      Vinnie Moore
      Greg Howe
      Joey Tafolla
      Cacophany
      Jason Becker
      Marty Friedman (former Megadeth guitarist)
Jeff Watson (former Night Ranger guitarist)
      David Chastain
      M.A.R.S.
      Dr. Mastermind...

...And many more. I don't know much about their newer stuff, but these guys could really shred back in the day...

http://www.shrapnelrecords.com/ Will get you started. Check ebay or craigslist for used CD's...

If you want Metallica songs without lyrics, you can look up Apocalyptica. They're a Finnish Cello Quartet who do a lot of Metallica songs.

I just thought of this: if you're not looking for one specific artist, then hop on over to pandora.com. When you hear a song that you like, give it a thumbs up to get songs similar to it and you can keep going through and finding more songs. I'll admit that it's hard to find specific songs, but it helps you find songs you wouldn't have heard other wise.
