Derailed Haunted House in Ramer, TN participated in our town's 4th of July parade yesterday. We had some walking characters and a float. Lots of photos were taken by those viewing along the parade route and local newspapers posted our pictures in their websites. Gore Galore's giant Creeper costume received stellar reviews. The mild weather yesterday was perfect for walking the parade route with the costume. The float scene comprised wall panels from Nevermore Productions and the Torture Factory and two Unit 70 static figures. Products from Fright Props and a distressed suit from Scaredy Pants received great comments. Haunted X featured some great face masks at the 2014 MHC show. They were ideal for this type event. They provide for a nice visual affect without all the profuse sweating.
Our small community counts on us participating in and supporting local events throughout the year. In turn, they try to send business our direction when the doors open at Derailed Haunted House.
