  • ENTIRE LINEUP AT 2007 Transworld Halloween Show

TransWorld’s 12th National Haunt & Attractions Show Coming Soon!

In just a few weeks, TransWorld’s 12th National Haunt & Attractions Show will open at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL and it’s a “must attend” event for exhibitors and attendees who work in the haunt and attractions industry.

The event runs from Friday, February 23 – Sunday, February 25, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Monday, February 26 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. This is a business-to-business trade event and admission is free to buyers with business credentials. “We’re expecting a great group of exhibitors and buyers for this show,” says Joseph Thaler, show director and president of TransWorld Exhibits. “Last year’s successful show helped pave the way for a bigger and better event this year.”

Buyers from a wide variety of haunt and Halloween-related attractions attend this show each year. They represent a wide variety of attractions large and small, from amusement parks & attractions, vacation & resort destinations, haunted events and pumpkin patches to family entertainment centers, corn mazes and theatrical companies.

On the show floor, exhibitors represent a wide variety of products such as props, animatronics, masks, costumes, lighting, special effects equipment, make-up, prosthetics, fabric paint & décor, gift & novelty items, haunted house designs and installation consulting services. Other products include sound and visual electronics, mobile haunted houses, educational & instructional videos, spooky music and sound, wristbands and visitor-automated tracking systems and haunt-oriented graphic and web designers.

Exhibitors & Buyers Create the Largest Haunt & Attractions
    Marketplace Anywhere!

The Haunt & Attractions Show is located with TransWorld’s 23rd International Halloween, Costume & Party Show, the industry’s largest Halloween in the show, and nearly 10,000 buyers traditionally attend both events. Exhibitors and buyers won’t find a bigger or more comprehensive marketplace anywhere.

Event Is Open to More Exhibitors Than Ever Before….

Many of the same exhibitors – and quite a few new ones – will be on hand for this year’s show. And, new this year, TransWorld is offering an exclusive introductory program to first-time exhibitors. Called “Incubator Alley”, the program is designed for entrepreneurs who are new to the industry or new to exhibiting and want an easy and affordable opportunity to reach buyers. “After talking to many exhibitor prospects about what they need in order to ‘get off the fence’ and get on the show floor, we decided to launch this new opportunity,” says Mr. Thaler. Potential exhibitors can learn more about Incubator Alley at http://www.hauntshow.com/incubator.shtml or by calling 800-323-5462.

Seminar Series Targets Strategic Business Topics

The Haunt & Attractions Show’s seminar series is always a popular part of the week’s events. Held on Friday and Saturday this year, topics address a wide range of topics geared to educate anyone who plans, organizes and runs a haunted attraction. “We worked with a number of industry experts to put together a seminar program that would appeal to attendees of all types – from experienced attraction owners to people just getting into the business. We’re confident this year’s program will appeal to many of our attendees,” says Jennifer Thaler, vice president of special events at TransWorld.

Here’s a list of seminars (fees apply). Register now for seminars to take advantage of the lower pre-show prices. Register online at http://www.hauntshow.com/seminars_reg.shtml.
