    I am 13 years old.
    I live in Hamburg NY.
I started haunting when I was 7 years old which was just a small party with a few of our neigbors.
My first serious haunt was last year and I am going publicly commercial this year.

ahhh far out! I was 16 when I first did mine. Do your friends all come and help you paint and and set up? Your so young with so much time, choices, and potential ahead of you. I bet people are surprised when they find out a 13 year old can bust out a haunted house. Do you have a theme to your haunted house or is it a mix of things?
my yellow in this case is not so mellow, infact I'm tryin to say, its frightened like me

Well because of only having two haunts and my biggest one being a party where none of my friends were serious about scaring nobody really knows what I could do. Even my dad thinks Buffalo Badlands will never amount to anything more than JUST a haunt!

I remember back in like 92 when my dad dug the hole for my basketball hoop pole and never put it up, fortunantly I could fit inside the hole and there was a big piece of plywood covering it up. Well on halloween I got the idea to hide in it and pop out at people walking up the driveway. And that's my first acting experience!

                  You had a spider hole.
I remember seeing such a thing in a western movie when I was a kid.
The indians dug small holes beside the road, pulled blankets over themselves , covered it with dirt, they became invisible, then popped up next to the cowboy's wagon when they came down the path and the attack was on, and they had the eliment of surprise!

I thought you were continuing the bashing from the strobe lights topic. I am commercial only in school

Home haunts are so much fun! If the hole is large enough - put a sheet of 2" walk on me plexiglass (frosted) sprayed with colours over the hole with a red police light in it. You can also put a mini fogger in it (drill narror holes in plexiglass or get it pre-drilled) to let the fog escape.
Suspend a plank across the hole and make them walk across..... the pit to hell......

What the hell does commercially only in school mean? And badlander, no need for an appology, we all know you act like the punk that you are on this forum. Such as, the thread where you had your "sister" come on and challenge us. Grow up.

Scarecrows and Cornstalks for me as well.

Jason must have read my mind. I change the theme of my yard every year, and liked the creep factor of scarecrows. My yard is long and narrow so I'm going to use the cornstalks tied to burlap to make a wall between two small chainsaw houses.
I'm making a facade to attach to my car port to create a barn with 3 scenes inside. Scarecrows will tower over the cornstalks.
I'm also using the torture devices from Brewster Home Haunt's page to create a Scarecrow's revenge area.

I like it ScareCrows Revenge, it sounds like a horror movie. Take some photos once you have it up. I trid corn last yaer but it only got about 3' tall. I had it planted in buckets and it did not do well. This year I planted corn and pumpkins in the ground, they have started to grow I only hope they keep growing.lol.
