  • Haunt Hot Rod Porn with PICS!!!!

Today was my birthday, so, being geeks, my wife and I went to the bookstore. Besides being geeks we're also spendthrifts and seldom if ever buy new books, we get them used, on and off line. So today was unusual, I scored two photoshop, and one flash magazine.

When we came out of the bookstore I got my birthday wish come true. A 197? black Lincoln Continental with 22" chrome wheels , low profile rubber, pitch black tinted windows, ripped off headlight covers, and some random rust spots.

This ride is has the potential to be Animal House parade death car meets the Munsters hot rod. So I snapped a few pics for you, offered the guy 5K and drove it home. Well, I did snap some pics for you. Imagine it parked in front of your haunt glowing with green led ground effects.

    Haunt Hoopty all day long.

I checked several confirmed year models on google images and haven't found enough markers to make a determination, most match around 74. It was actually hard to find a four door image. The ones that did had back wheel well covers, this one has a flare in the well sheet metal, so It may be even older, like 72.

And for Shane, I was kidding. I didn't buy it!!! Things that make sense in my head seem to loose it on the way to the keyboard.

A place to go to find "Cherry" older cars..

A car "Grandma" owns and has owned for many years yet seldom drove much..except to the fabric store to get her needles and thread/fabrics.
I have seen some really nice older cars parked around such a store.

I still think it is 1974 or 1975. I had a 72 back in the day and was looking for just such a car and ended up with a bunch of 87-88 ish Lincolns as they were all over and real cheap. At least one was primo and the other was a limo. The primo one is still running around. The limo did the chuck strange stunt show.

Like I heard one comedian say he really wants a Navigator real bad. So he walks into the dealer and asks for a 1978 Navigator, one he can afford.

I'm almost certain that Lincoln is a 78. It was right before the tragic downsizing. The true last of the dinosaurs. God Bless America.

I guess I did finally get that beater now 7 or 8 years ago, a 1979 Cadillac Miller Meteor Hearse. Still has under 75,000 original miles. Go ahead and offer ME $5,000.

If you want to know the exact model year, check the VIN number. It'll be the sixth digit on cars built before '81 and the tenth digit on '81-present.

                            there must be...

..some really fierce and large animals in the road at night to need so much destructive firepower upfront like that.
We do have herds of deer just standing in the middle of the muddle....
                            "The Bambi-blasters!"
Empty shell casings and a bloody mess, the poor state highway crew!
Is it space aliens or farmboys shooting deer against speeding cars at night with a big slingshot?
"That deer just came flying out of nowhere, so fast!"

Yeah no doubt, problem is I don't have it. There's a post a ways back. I was kidding about offering money for it, I dint buy it. I think the 77-78 is right.
