We had a great time in Vegas! Now we're back and we've got 2 months to complete the construction of our new 2nd attraction and have it ready to open... yikes!
At any rate, for those who have never visited the renovated downtown/Fremont Street in Las Vegas, I highly recommend it! I've been wanting to do this for a long time and I can now scratch it from my "bucket list".
They are currently having a "Summer of 69" event, which includes incredible tribute and classic bands. We saw Jefferson Starship and a Doors tribute band, Mojo Risin. Mojo Risin was freakin awesome and sounded just like the doors! Here are a couple of short videos:

Here's a link to a slideshow of some pictures we got on the trip. I wish we had gotten more pix, but we were having so much fun we kept forgetting. Also, the casinos frown on picture taking inside.
If you've ever thought about visiting Vegas, now is a good time. The costs are down and the traffic isn't too terrible.
