  • Best price for flyers?

    Hello all!
    Another piece of advice needed...
We checked into locally having a color flyer done up around our town and the cost seemed way high (I'm talking color 8 1/2 x 11 inch flyers-300 for $179.00)! To me this sounds a bit extreme...that's not even glossy paper.
We're going to have the art done up professionally and want to find the best quality for the price for either standard or even 11 x 17.
Where do you guys go? Local or online?
    Thanks!

Vista Print has good prices. Just make sure they are good quality when they arrive. If not, tell them you want them reprinted free.

250 - $100.99 Interestingly doubling that order costs more than twice as much, so if you need 500 order 250 twice.

There are a bunch of companies with similar prices. If you don't like them let me know and I'll dis up the info on a couple of others I have used.

That's for business cards. Fliers are still pretty reasonable though: http://www.m13graphics.com/econo-flyer-printing.htm

We get our postcards (club cards) from Clubflyers.com and we get our posters from hotcards.com

I somehow missed that you were looking for posters Kirk. We get the posters in the 11" x 17" size. Again, this was a referal from my buddy Tattoo!

All the other stuff seemed to be smaller and I was thinking "Hmm...maybe what is a flyer around here is more of what we'd term a mailer/postcard...lol!
                      I need flyer/poster info! lol
                      Thanks again!

                        Kirk,

Flyers are generally taped on walls, put on windshields and things like that. Larger posters are obviously posted in larger places. I have seen quite a few different businesses using the smaller cards (which are also thicker than a regular flyer/poster) as a promotion by leaving stacks of them on counters in convenience stores and other high traffic locations. A 4x6 or 3x5 doesn't take up much room so they might let you put a stack of those there while they wouldn't allow a stack of 8.5x11s. So they definitely have their uses, but like you pointed out you need to compare apples to apples to figure out which place has the best prices.

BTW, for those of you who use post cards for mailings: the USPS will only allow 4.25x6 inch cards to be sent for the 28 cent price. So while a printer may label something larger a "standard" postcard, be aware that you will have to pay more than the standard price to mail it.

                        Shawn

Have to agree with Kelly.. Clubflyers is who we use as well... They are high quality, easy to use, and inexpensive.

                          Good luck!
