We have some nice heavy duty bodybags that we want to hang vertically from the ceiling. My question is what material can we use to stuff these body bags with so that they feel real in weight and size but don't cost an arm and a leg. Were looking for a quick and cheap idea. Body forms are a little expensive (we are almost over budget). Keep in mind that our customers will be pushing them out of the way.

I've used the foam from old couch cushions and filled old clothes with chunks of it.Katie Lane

I too have used foam like the stuff from couch cushions. But it was 5ft long by 3 ft wide and 4 in thick. We had a bunch of it and I got creative with a razor knife and some duct tape. I cut a crude bodyform and wrapped the hell out of it w/ the tape. gave it a nice solid feel. stuff that into some clothes and you should be set. They withstood years of abuse, and I do mean some serious abuse. ........And you know what they say if you can't duct it them............well you know the rest

Body Bag Filler
Any type of foam is probably gonna get you the best result as said before. If they are not clear body bags I would recommend weighting them with sand to so they are not so light just make sure you seal the sand in container that won't break open then duct tape, duct tape, duct tape! lol. Also I would watch how much sand I put in so it's not like walking through a room of weighted punching bags lol. You know how crazy patrons can be lol. I Personally haven't tried it but that would be my approach. I just use the body bags from Haunted Enterprises in our haunt. They have made it through two seasons and 55,000 patrons beating on them and they still work wonders. I would defiantly recommend them. Randy sells them in a package where you get one or two kickers in there as well. Hope that helps!
Best Wishes,
Ethan
