        Im going for neither.

I was never really into the Final destination series. It got old to me really quick. That, and rob zombie has screwed up the image of Meyers in my opinion.

Im still addicted to District 9.

I think they both look kinda stupid, especially FD. The old Halloween is where it's at. So far District 9 is one of my favorites.

Yeah, I would go for original horrors any day. Rob Zombie is a good act but his movies are better off as originals like The Devil's Rejects which I dont remember hearing it being a remake. I may be wrong.

Halloween 2 will be the victor. Im not a big fan of the last one. Althought Rob has many followers and not to mention he kicked it up a notch and introduced Michael Myers to an all new generation. Final Destination part 4 in 3 D. Shouldnt part 3 been 3D? Anyway the last one was the best of the whole series. This one looks pretty lame! Im going to see H2 Friday!

Well I went to see H2. Major dissappointment. Not a big fan of the Rob Zombie Halloweens anyway. This was just plain dumb. None of it really goes together. And it makes Loomis out to be some asshole. I think it was just one big ball of crap! But I still think it will do better than Final Destination.? Maybe Im wrong and should have gone and seen it instead.

Final Destination made 10.7 first day and Halloween 2 7.5 so FD3 kicked Halloween azz.

Did you hear now Zombie wants to remake the Blob.

Won't happen. Blobs don't live in trailer parks so how will he develop the back story?

Damn. 3 mil. Oh well. The little purist got their way I guess.
                            H2 > FD
Rob did a great job. It did make sense. It was fresh and did not follow those cheesey horror movie templates. It cannot be compared to any Halloween movie and I'm sick of seeing that done. It was new and fresh using an old charachter.

He's off to a crappy start insulting the original Blob movies but the "cult" following cannot be that big to make a difference. Not aware of any Blob online communities like MM

boy, I was way off !!!!!!!

H2 did a total of $17 million for the weekend...... final dest. did $38 million. (did that include the final in 3D and the regular version ??? (just wondering) both versions were shown here in local theatres here.

Inglorious came in 2nd place. I really thought H2 would have done better.

I also heard Halloween 3-D is slated for next Sepetmeber... Not sure if Rob Zombie is involved.

Thanks for the posts. more comments please on H2 and
FINAL (how was the new 3D-effect?)
