With only about a month until October, the Haunting season is nearly upon us! The following is an update, listing some of the great things that HauntedIllinois.com has to offer you this season!
HAUNTED ATTRACTION DIRECTORY
As September approaches, we wanted to update you on haunted attractions in your area. Over the past month, Haunted Illinois’ event directory has grown substantially; there are now more than 100 events listed! In the next few weeks, we expect the list to get much larger!
With all of its useful searching/sorting features, our event directory will make it ultra-easy for you to find your favorite Illinois Haunted Attractions! You may sort the entire event list by the name of the event, city, region or the date the listings were last updated.
Or if you prefer, you can use one of our handy searching features to filter the list of activities, to make it even easier to find the events you are looking for. You can search the directory by Region, Event Type, Dates of Operation of the events or any combination of those criteria. You can also type in your zip code to find events near you!
If you are looking for Haunted Houses, Hayrides, Haunted Trails, Yard Displays, Home Haunts, Fall Festivals or other Halloween-related events, you will find them all in our directory. For more details about these events, visit:

Keep in mind that Haunted Illinois lists more than just Haunted Houses. Any Halloween-related event, as long as it is in Illinois, is welcome in our directory. If you run a Haunted House, Hayride, Haunted Trail, Home Haunt, Yard Display, Festival, Pumpkin Farm, Apple Orchard or other Halloween-related event, it can be listed in our directory!

(Note: Keep in mind that you may only write reviews for those 2009 attractions that have already opened for the season. As the season progresses and more attractions open for business, they will automatically be added to the list of events to review.)

With more and more communities observing alternate days/hours for Trick-or-Treating, keeping the information in our Trick-or-Treating database up-to-date is more important than ever.
