Wondering what works best for you...... Handing out and collecting costumes and props each night by a wardrobe/prop person or...... Giving the actors a box and rack area for them to take care of their own costumes and props. Thanks

It depends on the quality of look you want. If you want control of their look then you should hand them what you want them to wear.
I will type more when I get a chance, but I highly recommend handing them out.

"I think I want you to look as if somebody punched you in the face real hard."
"What make up do you use for this?"
"This method is the quickest and most realistic."
    "POW!"
    "OW!"
"Now get back out there and act mean and pissy! And make your nose stop bleeding!"

Thanks Jim, I can always count on you to punch up the situation.

I know everybody is busy right now with their haunts but I'd appreciate just a quick yes or no as to which method is working the best for them. Thanks.

If you want to keep your costumes from year to year then you should have someone monitor the handing out and collecting of them. No one will do it with out someome watching what they do.

You can't say "NO ONE will do it" if they're not monitored, just LESS inclined to return pieces to their costume. Handing out does seem to work the best, just because like Allen said, you have more control over what your actors look like.
