Any new noise devices for actors out there?

Anybody find a really good replacement for "shaker cans" for their actors this year? Thanks

ive been saving old pill bottles all yr long I then fill them with loose nuts and bolts and duct tape the bottle tight this makes great cheap recycled shaker cans that can hide in the palm of the actors hands

I have experimented with
Thunder tubes
Cicada fans
the tubes you swing around and it makes noise
The small hand drums (seen in the karate kid) they are loud!
slap sticks
and dumbulls (a few references to it can be found online)
A High tech solution is Gore Galores Scream cube, I highly endorse it as it is awesome. I have two and I love them.
