  • IDEA'S NEEDED!

Okay, heres the problem... I've got a slew of horror conventions coming up this year, a couple short films and also setting up screenings of my latest movie which ='s lot's of $$$!

So I don't think I can buy many new props for this years haunt but as promised, I wanna expand to a trail that wraps around my house and back out the front again...

Any idea's for how I can keep my yard haunt as impressive but still relocate stuff to make the trail happen???

Just thought I'd pick peoples brains... yum

From the pics on Freewebs it looks like you are off to a very good start! Since money is tight I would suggest starting to purchase some props now. You should be able to find some very good deals.

As for wrapping it around the house I would suggest doing a very basic trail this time. If you have a garage that is near the back of the yard and there is fencing, it act's as a great base for walls.

    Goodluck this year!

JasonSt look for construction dumpsters be sure to ask if you can take anything from it. You would freak out if you saw some of the stuff I have gotten. Right now the store I work at is being remodeled they had to cut up the floor to lay new drains, so they had plywood walls up. When they where done they put them in the construction dumpster. I aslo got 2x4s and a large sheet of plexiglass. About three weeks ago I stopped at a place and asked if I could take some stuff out of a trash pile behind a store that was getting gutted. Walked away with 23 4x4 post that had been cut down to 5' in hight. Don't forget yard sales and the like, a faw bucks will go a long way when you put stuff together yourself. You already have a awsome home haunt and I'm sure it will just keep getting better. Just save some green for the after party.lol.

Awhile ago I got a bunch of free 4 by 5's, 8 foot long, they are made out of styrofoam! Painted, looked real good, they have a fire rating sticker on them but I still won't use them inside my place. For 20 years they were decorative faux beams in the pharmacy ceiling.
(I don't think they would successfully hold much weight up, though.)
I have been going to give them to someone, then they show up driving a small car!
        Oh well?
